Dr. Mays is an outstanding gastroenterologist. He is extremely knowledgeable, takes the time to explain things thoroughly, and has an excellent bedside manner. While it can be difficult to get an appointment as a new patient, he is well worth the wait. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a compassionate and skilled GI specialist.

Dr. Mays was absolutely awesome. Very comforting and also informative before and after procedure.

My hematologist wanted an endoscopy, lymph node and liver biopsy. He sent the CT and MRI results to Dr. Mays. His office called me and told me they would contact me after he had a chance to review. Never heard another word from Dr. Mays. When I went back to my hematologist he looked up Dr. Mays response. It was in records that he was unable to do ANY of the procedures. Nice of him to let me know!! He didnt even bother meeting. Very unprofessional and uncaring. My hematologist then sent referal to Dr. Awan and what a difference! He immediately made an appt with me and got all 3 procedures done with no problem at Medical City Hospital where they were so kind and caring. I thanked Dr. AWAN for helping me when no one else would! Definitely using him for my regular gasterologist. His staff was so nice and professional. It was a pleasure meeting medical staff that still care and are not burnt out.

I have a new favorite doctor! While getting a colonoscopy has to be the most uncomfortable though painless procedure he made me feel comfortable and at ease! I thought I would never have this procedure done again but now I won’t ever dread it anymore!

It was quick, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The doctor took his time explaining my symptoms and answering my questions. The office is clean and organized
