Baptist Health Medical Group Gastroenterology

I am giving this review on the office policy. I express my deep disappointment with the treatment I received at your front desk during my recent routine appointment. I have been a loyal patient at Baptist Gastroenterology for years. Throughout my entire history with this office, I have maintained a perfect record and have never once owed an outstanding balance. Despite this clear track record of financial responsibility, I was told I would be turned away and rescheduled if I could not pay my copay strictly at the time of service. I was ultimately forced to place the charge on a credit card just to see my doctor. This rigid enforcement left me feeling that this office views me strictly as a transaction, rather than a long-term patient. It is incredibly disheartening to realize that years of loyalty and prompt payments mean nothing when a temporary financial hurdle arises. Good healthcare should be rooted in patient compassion, but this experience made it clear that bureaucratic policy comes before patient well-being. I expect my history as a responsible patient to be taken into account. A one time courtesy would have been nice to have.

They not only are extremely hard to get ahold of and the woman from the hub who answered was very rude, but I waited over a week for my test results just for them to tell me what I already knew and not address any of the things I wasn't aware of. Brandi was nice but I have been having ongoing stomach issues for 11 years and no one can seem to pinpoint why, fix them, or cares enough to follow up. This place is actually the worst, and I will not be going back.

Seen Brandi a few months Ago and she scheduled me for an Upper Gi and Colonoscopy. Which I was due for one. I absolutely love Brandi. She is always sweet and very thorough. I had my procedure with Dr Beauerle. He was very nice and explained everything well. All the nurses, anesthesiologists at Baptist Endoscopy were all so kind and made my experience not so scary. I highly recommend going to see Baptist Gastroenterology!

I can’t even say I’m giving them 1 start due to the doctors, cause I can’t get an appointment. I’ve been trying for 2 days to schedule and cannot get anyone on the phone or to call me back. I’ve probably been on hold a total of 2 hours over the past 2 days. Absolutely ridiculous.

Great office staff and very clean rooms doctors are very easy to talk Dr.Hennies assistant found a hernia on me. over all I appreciate them 🥰
