I went to Austin Gastroenterology as a new patient because as part of my general healthcare I need a screening colonoscopy. My first visit was for a consultation with Dr. Kumar before scheduling the procedure. Dr. Kumar is very friendly and approachable. The staff that does the scheduling is well organized and very professional. The facility is new and modern. I felt very comfortable during my first visit.

Well set up office, moved fast for the volume of patients, and the doctor was great. Dr. Klapheke was willing to spend time explaining his thoughts and the plan to address the symptoms all while using regular English instead of medical terminology. Really put us at ease.

I have been seen by Dr Becker at Austin Gastroenterology for about 14 years. I have received excellent care from him and his staff. They give excellent instructions for procedures and are always there to answer your questions. I have never been disappointed.
