This office will tell you one thing in person then tell you something completely opposite over the patient portal. I kept requesting a call back for an explanation as to why I need another colonoscopy but this time the pill camera version after no more than two years of already having one and they refused to call me and explain. DO NOT go here. I kept being told that they will tell the PA Danica to give me a call after. After a month of not receiving a call I was told she has refused to communicate with me via phone.

Danica, PA was very professional, knowledgeable and took time listening. I was very impressed with how she handled the entire experience.

I recently had an appointment and received excellent service from Destany, CCMA, Danika, and Trichina. They were very nice and had showed me great customer service. They attended to me in a timely manner and conducted their service in a friendly and professional manner.

I've seen Danica Pinson PA-C. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. I've had GI issues for as long as I can remember and she has been very attentive in trying to help me figure it out.

People are complaining about seeing PAs instead of "real doctors" but I got more help and answers from the PA i saw than I have from any previous doctors. Danica was absolutely amazing, sweet, knowledgeable, and actually helped me figure out what could be wrong and the next steps to fix it. After 3 ER visits and a different GI this one actually gave me hope that they can figure out whats wrong after a month of suffering. The assistants were all incredibly kind and absolutely lovely to chat with, they helped me get everything sorted out and got me ready for my next steps. I am so happy I came here and don't plan to ever go anywhere else next time I see the GI. 10/10.

Went to this office in November due to acute GI symptoms. I saw the new PA who basically dismissed my concerns, didn't even order blood work, just told me I should go to my PCP for blood work. She ordered a stool test which I was told I should get the results of within 3-4 days. I completed the test and mailed it in and have not heard from this office since. I called daily to get results since my severe symptoms were continuing, and left multiple messages. None of my messages were ever returned. I spoke to the front desk staff who were not helpful, and finally to a nurse who said there "was nothing in my chart" but refused to check with any doctor. Eventually I gave up and changed doctors to another practice. The new doctor's office has also tried unsuccessfully to get my records and test results from this office. I got the bill for the stool test, but 4 months later I've never heard a word from them. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!

Was told 3 weeks+ ago after my endoscopy that I would be contacted in 5-7 days with results. At the 2 week mark I left a VM for nurse that has rude message about not leaving more than one message, another 5 business days pass and I leave a message in portal. It's now been 2 days with no response to that message either. I call and try to talk to a lice person thru scheduling and am currently waiting more than 15 min on hold. This is beyond rude and unprofessional when patients have continued symptoms and ZERO response from provider or team member. SO much room for improvement here, pick an area!

Amazing office and amazing doctors. Dr Sonnenshine fixed me up perfectly. Professional, talented, and kind.

First off I don't like PA's as id rather see a real doctor, but I had no choice. PA Jamie Akerman is who I got, not much to say, she didn't really ask a lot of questions or dig into my history...and when she found out I am on a AV medicine she actually googled it to surmise my gastro issue was related to my meds which it's not ! Then when she couldn't figure it out she ordered stool sample to test at a 3rd party facility up north, only ordered 3tests and they were negative..gave me a bag of sample fiber enhancement pills and that was all. A week later I went to a VA doctor, he did in depth interview and ordered stool and blood, turns out I have celiac disease. So now I know my issue but still paid Atlanta Gastro and $300 to the lab PA Akerman requested. A waste of time and money to so called professional practice that totally missed the boat on. I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience of ineptness of this PA and by transmission, the practice
