So bad experience that maybe many are experiencing. They rescheduled three times my appointment and the last appointment after waiting Hal’s test, when I arrived at the office they didn’t inform me they cancelled again? This is such a bad service. This is an indications that is better no to waste your time in places like this. Not recommended.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Willing to answer any questions about the uncomfortable subjects. Went for my first colonoscopy so was a bit nervous, but they made me feel better about the overall process.

The ladies at the front desk were not friendly or helpful. The nurse and the PA I saw were wonderful. Just wasn’t a comfortable environment at the check in and check out areas

I recently had an outstanding experience at Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was professional, welcoming, and efficient, making the check-in process seamless. I would like to specifically commend Ms. Mariela and her team; their friendly demeanor and clear commitment to excellent customer service made a significant difference in my visit. I highly recommend this practice and give them a 10/10 rating for their professionalism and care.

I experienced a Crohn’s flare in May 2025 and scheduled an appointment at Atlanta Gastro in Alpharetta. Before booking, I confirmed multiple times that I wanted to eventually see Dr. Karsan, and if he wasn’t available right now, I should be placed with his nurse. I was assured that Nurse Lee Jung Min works directly with Dr. Karsan, so I made the appointment. During my first visit, I explained to Nurse Lee that, as an international student, it is extremely difficult for me to manage a chronic and expensive condition like Crohn’s. She told me not to worry and said we would continue discussing my treatment plan through calls or messages, and that I wouldn’t need another in-person visit for about three months. After the visit, she responded to a few of my messages on the patient app and then called me within a day or two to go over the treatment plan. However, when I later had a couple of follow-up questions regarding that plan, her assistant/admin team replied to my message telling me that I needed to schedule another appointment — and not even with Dr. Karsan, but with a different doctor, Leah Katta. Despite being told earlier that follow-ups could be done through chat or phone, the nurse stopped responding and the staff insisted on another appointment. It felt like they were more focused on billing than on providing consistent care. There was no honesty, empathy, or continuity of treatment. Overall, the experience was very disappointing. I’m grateful that my previous doctor in Pennsylvania helped me over text, answered my questions, and guided me through the next steps without charging me. I wish the care here showed even a portion of that compassion.
