I hate to give a one star because I love both of the doctors here and they do amazing work, but the clerical side needs serious training. I was a patient here in 2019. I lacked health insurance for years and I came back in 2026 when I gained insurance again. I tried to book a colonoscopy a day after my office visit, called the office and was told I’d be called back by the person who sets that schedule. I didn’t get a call back for hours, so in fear of them closing without a call back, I called back later in the afternoon (2 hours before they close) and I got booked for the appointment. A day after that, I called at 9:51AM to ask them to send me instructions for the colonoscopy. I was told I should have been given the instructions while in the office, but I replied I didn’t book the colonoscopy while in the office. Clerk said it still should have been given to me before I left. They said the instructions were sent to my email but they were not. I then sent an email prompting them to send me the instructions, to make it easier. 20 minutes before they close (4:40PM), they sent me scanned instructions and at least 1/3rd of the page isn’t fully visible, so instructions are unclear. They also sent my Gavilyte prescription to my pharmacy a day after I booked the appointment, and my pharmacy didn’t have it in stock at the time (not the doctor’s fault they didn’t have it in stock, but they should have sent it to the pharmacy ASAP instead of a day later). Now I have to go in during my lunch break to get everything I need from the office and ensure I’m prepared for the colonoscopy in a few days. This has stretched into a 3 day issue, trying to get all the instructions and materials I need. This would not be necessary if the office was more organized. It’s a shame because this was not my experience when I last visited in 2019. Update 7/17/26: Cancelled my appointment and will be seeking another practice. When I called in to cancel, they did try to keep me as a patient. But I’m done. I was told by two different people in the office that it would be a $200 cancellation fee despite the fact that I still do not have all of my materials for the colonoscopy and I had been trying to get it all for three days, I am navigating around work and I have never had an issue like this before, so the fee honestly should be waived. Today is Friday and my procedure was supposed to be Monday; they said they don’t count the weekend. My previous colonoscopy with this practice went smoothly in 2019, so it’s sad to see the clerical side have these struggles. They hung up without confirming the cancellation, so I will likely have to call back to ensure my appointment is truly cancelled. All of my new doctor’s are affiliated with Grady except for my gastro, and that didn’t bother me. But I’ll have to make the switch over there too. Stay away if you value your time and money.

Went here with pains in abdomen. Parrish recommended images. Took me alot of back and forth between front desk and imaging to get referral. THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIVE! They said they "looked" at the images. To find out, only the imaging place did and gave them the results. They never looked at it. Had I known the imaging center was going to get imaging and determine results. I would have started there and not a specialist, who never acutally looks at anything. Horrible place and and offered 0 expertise.

Title: Great doctors and actually a well-run office! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Going to a specialist usually stresses me out—not even because of the medical stuff, but because you usually end up waiting an hour past your appointment time just to deal with grumpy front desk staff and confusing bills. I gotta say, Atlanta Center for Gastroenterology is completely different. The doctors and nurses are great, but honestly, the main reason I’m leaving this review is because of how the place is managed. I read that Michael Rausher runs the management and strategy side of things over there, and whatever he’s doing is definitely working. The whole process was just easy. The front desk team was actually super nice and helpful instead of acting like you're bothering them. I barely waited in the lobby before they called me back, which is basically unheard of these days. They actually respect your time and don't cram way too many patients into the schedule. Plus, when it came time to get my procedure done, the billing folks told me exactly what my insurance covered and what I would owe beforehand. No hidden fees or crazy surprise bills showing up in the mail weeks later. It's just really nice to go to a doctor's office that actually has their stuff together behind the scenes. It makes dealing with health issues way less stressful. Highly recommend them!

Charged me $375 just to tell me to go to a different doctor and then tried to get me to get a procedure done that the other doctor will be able to do while handling the problem I went to see this doctor about.
