Atlanta Center for Gastroenterology: Dr. Charles C. Parrish, MD

Dr Parrish and his staff really went out of their way to help me through finding cancer. He explained everything so many times and never lost his kindness. The nurses there genuinely cared for me as if I was family. From the moment I walked in they treated me like they have known me for years. Highly recommend them.

Kind, caring and fantastic doctor. Lovely office staff!! They reply to texts even late in the evening! So rare in America. The nurse who attended to me during the process was smiling and very thorough. They could relook at the paperwork they make you fill out—it is a LOT and contains repeated questions. The printout I was given with the instructions was faded and of poor quality. Overall, I am very happy with them. Thank you all... :-)

The lady that works in the desk i think her name is Pam. She needs to be fired!! Very rude and need to go get some training on how to behave with patients!

I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with this doctor. When I came in for my appointment, he immediately told me there was nothing he could do for me and claimed he didn’t have access to my medical files. Despite paying my co-pay, the entire interaction lasted less than two minutes. He was dismissive, refused to listen to my concerns, and was incredibly rude, all while I was in severe pain. This was, without a doubt, the worst medical experience I’ve ever had, and I strongly believe his ability to practice medicine should be reevaluated.

I had high hopes for this physician (Dr. Parrish) as my primary I love referred me to him. I couldn’t get a single word in during my appointment, but I needed a procedure and he was the soonest available. He belittled me making me feel like my symptoms was me being dramatic, never listened to a word I said, and was very obviously frustrated with me because I was having anxiety and kept moving my hands during the procedure. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

This man was rude made me feel that I was stupid. My primary care doctor recommended him.

I have been going through the journey with my partner who has seen Dr. Parrish. I have never seen such terrible care in my life. Dr. Parrish is rude, dismissive and condescending. If you want someone who takes you and your other care providers test results seriously, then do not see this individual.

I had my first colonoscopy with Dr. Parrish five years ago, my wife six years ago. I called today on Friday at 9 a.m. and I asked if dr. Parrish can check my abdomen for possible blockage and to my surprise scheduler ask me if I can be there by 11 a.m. I really hated other options, one of them being emergency room in this time of Covid. Dr. Parrish is very knowledgeable and no bs. He will tell you his reasoning and simplify it for you. If you come with a long story good luck, but he will order all the tests to minimize chance of something being undetected. And by the way my wife just told me that he probably saved her life. Maybe there are better ones out there, but I don't know them...
