I booked an endoscopy here after an initial warm consultation with Dr. Farboud. Both my husband and I took time off work to make the procedure. On the day of the procedure, I was falsely told I was pregnant based on a single urine test. When I was initially asked for a confirmatory urine test rather than signing a waiver, the nurse was visibly annoyed when I said I would prefer a urine test, saying that ”most people just sign the waiver” which, as a healthcare professional myself, I know is not the standard protocol before proceeding. I was not offered a confirmatory urine test or bloodwork and was basically informed this life-changing news in a highly insensitive way. Right after I was told that I can go home since the endoscopy obviously cannot be done that day. I changed back to my clothes, no support from anyone, walked past multiple members of the staff, while my husband waited in the lobby with no idea what was happening. I didn’t want to announce such personal news to my husband out in the lobby, and broke down in tears when we got into the lift. We had to seek confirmatory tests ourself with another healthcare clinic and spent the weekend in emotional turmoil until two separate urine tests and bloodwork confirmed I was in fact not pregnant. When I called the clinic the following Monday to cancel my follow-up and to share feedback, I was blamed for “rushing out” and was told they hadn’t had time to speak to me? There was no acknowledgement of the distress caused, no apology, and no accountability for the failure to follow basic confirmatory testing protocol. The procedure never happened. The arrangements I made were wasted. And the clinic’s response to genuine, reasonable feedback was to deflect and dismiss. I would not return or recommend this clinic to anyone.

I cannot recommend Dr Farboud enough!! I was fortunate enough to find him through a dear friend. I was well informed both prior to and after my colonoscopy, feeling comfortable asking any poop questions I had.
